Job Responsibilities and Candidates profile
Work is based on designing and developing embedded Java applications and middleware components on Irdeto proprietary middleware which is currently deployed in millions of boxes across world.
Estimate and plan for the tasks and User Stories that need to be achieved.
Write technical specification from the functional specification.
Implement and maintain software components.
Write technical documentation for these software components.
Unit-test components development.
Required skills
Experience in programming in Java User Interface in embedded systems, good practical knowledge in embedded Java/J2ME, Experience in development with AWT and/or HAVi Java Graphical APIs (desirable), developing software within the area of Digital TV and embedded systems (desirable). Excellent Knowledge of Java-TV ad JMF APIs (a plus).
